In WEFC, we seek to fulfil our mission through a 3-stage process called
gather
grow
go
A disciple in WEFC
gathers in community to worship and pray,
grows in Life Change Groups and Grow Classes, and
goes to serve others and transform the world around them.

This is our strategy for making disciples who transform Woodlands and the world.
Gather
IN COMMUNITY FOR WORSHIP AND PRAYER
If you are new to WEFC or new to following Jesus, it is important to know we believe in anchoring our lives on God’s Word and being led by His Holy Spirit. Therefore, hearing and obeying biblical messages, worshipping God with other believers, and depending on Him through prayer are core essentials in our first steps of discipleship.
We do this in-person and online through:

-
Worship services on Sundays
-
Children’s Ministry every Sunday
-
Corporate prayer once a month on the first Sunday (Chinese) and third Sunday (English)
Grow
IN LIFE CHANGE GROUPS AND GROW CLASSES
As disciples we are to continually grow and become like Jesus. We firmly believe that we grow better through relationships with others rather than on our own, and that the gospel results in deeper commitments and wider diversity in the body of Christ. Hence, as a maturing believer, it’s important for you to grow:

-
As a baptised member — baptism follows our Lord’s example and command, and membership is our commitment to the local gathering of God’s people.

-
In a Life Change Group — these small groups are the primary places we grow as disciples, as we study and apply the Word in an authentic community committed to doing life together.
-
Through Grow Classes — these support and complement our LCGs through specific courses. While knowledge and skills are important, they are only a means to an end and can’t substitute our growth in authentic community. See what upcoming classes you can attend.

BLESS OTHERS AND TRANSFORM WOODLANDS AND THE WORLD
Believing that God wants all people to know Him through Jesus, we joyfully use our gifts and resources for His purposes and glory. This shows as we bless and serve others in our families, our church, spreading outward to Woodlands and the world.

-
Serve others — discipleship involves every aspect of our lives, but the first place it matters is in our own home. Serve God first in your family, then lead your family in serving others.
-
Transform Woodlands and the world — as salt of the earth and light to the world, we are God’s agents of transformation for our community and the nations. Our ministries through Woodlands Social Centre and in the mission fields bring the gospel where it is most needed.
